Jewellery Making with Ballybeen Women's Centre

Members of the women's group in Ballybeen, East Belfast, took part in a series of jewellery making workshops. During the first workshop they made necklaces using felt and elastic thread. They chose two complementary colours and cut out 40 small shapes. Some decided to go for triangles, hexagons, squares or a mixture of a few.  These were threaded onto the elastic thread to create a busy and complex necklace.
